Thousands of miles away from home, Wenjie and Yuxi go to the same church in Birmingham, Alabama and that is where they met. Wenjie moved to the US from China not too long ago to do her Post Doc and Yuxi has been here for a few years getting his PHD in biomedical engineering.
In the few hours that I spent with them, I could tell how much they loved and adored each other. They have been together for a little over a year now and it took Yuxi only three months to realize that she was the one for him.
Wenjie and Yuxi contacted me back in September from Alabama to book their late November engagement session in New York City. Just like in the movies, they wanted to document their romantic relationship with Brooklyn Bridge and Central park as the backdrop. Despite the chilly Autumn morning, these two brave souls survived the dressy engagement session with much fun, love and hot cocoa. :D
